Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to Madrid. Day 2 Arrive Madrid (2) Trafalgar transfers you to your hotel on arrival in Madrid. Later, time to relax before meeting your Tour Director for a welcome beverage. Hotel: Holiday Inn (2 nights) Day 3 Madrid sightseeing & Toledo Excursion Today's morning sightseeing shows us the Cervantes Memorial, the Puerta del Sol and more. Then we're off to Toledo where sightseeing includes a visit to the Synagogue, the Church of Santo Tomé and witnesses a demonstration of Damascene work in a local Toledo steel workshop. Later, it's back to Madrid where tonight you may wish to dine in a restaurant on the Plaza Mayor.
	Day 4 Madrid – Barcelona (2) Today we drive through the Jalon Gorges passing Calatayud to Zaragoza with its Cathedrals. Then on through the Penedes vineyards to Barcelona, where tonight perhaps admire the illuminations of the city. Hotel: Hesperia Sant Just (2 nights) Day 5 Barcelona sightseeing Our morning sightseeing tour includes a visit to Gaudi's 'Sagrada Familia' and the Gothic Quarter. Free time this afternoon to explore. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner in a fabulous local restaurant.
Day 6 Barcelona – Valencia First to Peñiscola before driving through the Levant region to Valencia. Here orientation shows us the Bull Ring, the great Cathedral and the Towers of Serrano and Cuarte. Hotel: Abba Acteon Plaza Day 7 Valencia – Granada Today we stop at Guadix to view the troglodyte cave dwellings. Then via the Mora Pass to hilltop Granada. This evening, we enjoy an included dinner of local specialties to the music of the Spanish guitar. Hotel: Carmen
Day 8 Granada sightseeing – Seville (2) We visit one of the most important sights of Spain, the Moorish Alhambra Palace with a colorful local guide. You'll be bewitched by the beautiful courtyards and cooling fountains of these timeless buildings. Next we enjoy a scenic journey via Antequera to Seville. After dinner, perhaps enjoy the fiery and passionate atmosphere at a Flamenco show. Hotel: Al Andalus (2 nights) Day 9 Seville sightseeing Morning sightseeing shows us the Maria Luisa Park, Giralda Tower, Columbus' tomb and the Plaza de España before free time in the afternoon. Perhaps enjoy an evening horse-driven carriage ride through the floodlit streets of this delightful city. Day 10 Seville – Madrid Through Guadalquivir Valley to Cordoba where sightseeing includes the Mosque of the Caliphs and the Synagogue. Then across the plains of La Mancha before our return to Madrid. Why not enjoy dinner in the Old Town tonight? Hotel: Orense Day 11 Madrid – USA Transfer to the airport for your return flight to America.
