Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to Lisbon.
	Day 2 Arrive Lisbon Trafalgar transfers you to your hotel on arrival in Lisbon. Late afternoon guided sightseeing shows us the Belem Tower, Hieronymite Monastery and the Monument to the Explorers. Tonight, enjoy a welcome from your Tour Director. Marriott International
Day 3 Lisbon – Madrid (2) An early start today as we cross the magnificent Bridge of the 25th April. Via the ruins of the fortified town of Montemor-o-Novo we head to the Spanish border. On to Merida and via the pottery town of Talavera en route to Madrid, Spain's capital. Hotel: Rafael Atocha (2 nights)
	Day 4 Madrid Morning sightseeing shows us the Puerta del Sol and the Cervantes Memorial and includes a guided visit of the famous Prado Museum to see the many paintings by the Grand Masters of Spain. Then some free time to perhaps take an excursion to the monastery-palace of Philip II at El Escorial (optional).
	Day 5 Madrid – Toledo – Granada We travel to ancient Toledo where sightseeing with a local guide includes the El Greco masterpiece and Jewish Synagogue. We also visit a Toledo steel workshop. Next we head to Andalusia and Moorish hilltop Granada. Hotel: Carmen Day 6 Granada – Tangier (2) Today's first highlight is a visit to the exquisite Alhambra Palace. Then we drive to the Costa del Sol stopping in the millionaire's resort of Marbella. Next along the coast to Algeciras where we board our ferry and cruise to Morocco and Tangier our first night in Africa! Hotel: Almohades (2 nights)
Day 7 Tangier sightseeing shows us the residential quarter, the Arabic mosque and Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. We also visit the 'casbah', where we can haggle over carpets. Some free time this afternoon. Day 8 Tangier – Seville (2) Today we board our ferry and cruise back to Spain, across the Strait of Gibraltar, with views of the famous Rock. Then on through the Jerez vineyards, leading to beautiful, Seville. Tonight, why not enjoy a fiery flamenco show? Hotel: Tryp Melia Macarena (2 nights)
