Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to Milan. Day 2 Arrive Milan Trafalgar meets you at Milan's Malpensa airport and transfers you to your hotel. Later an orientation tour of Italy's financial and fashion capital shows us the gothic Duomo, the 19th century Galleria and "La Scala" Opera house. Tonight, we enjoy a welcome beverage with our Tour Director and fellow travelers. Holiday Inn Linate
Day 3 Milan – Monte Carlo (2) This morning after breakfast it's westward to Torino! – home of Fiat, Martini and cappuccino! Here our orientation tour shows us the 'Antonelliana' building and the Piazza San Carlo before time maybe to enjoy a delicious coffee and a 'cornetto'! Finally, we drive in the shadow of the snow-capped Alps to France and into the Principality of Monaco, where we spend the next two nights. This evening, we enjoy a dinner of Provencal specialties in a local restaurant. Hotel: Marriott Cap d'Ail (2 nights) Day 4 Monte Carlo to Nice Our morning orientation of Monaco includes the Cathedral where Princess Grace is buried and views the Palace of the Royal Grimaldi family. Stop at Eze, in France, to visit a perfume factory before continuing on to Nice. Here we are shown the Promenade des Anglais, the Place Massena and so much more! Later, we drive back to Monte Carlo where you have the opportunity to break the bank at one of the elegant casinos! Day 5 Monte Carlo – Montecatini (2) We drive to the border with Italy at Ventimiglia and drive along the Italian Riviera of the flowers past Genoa, Columbus' birthplace. On past the marble quarries of Carrara, and are soon driving inland to Pisa, where we visit the Square of Miracles to see the Leaning Tower and marble Cathedral. Then it's a short drive Montecatini Hotel: Grand Hotel & La Pace (2 nights)
	Day 6 Florence Excursion A short drive brings us to Florence, where the Cathedral, Signoria Square and Santa Croce Baptistry all feature on our sightseeing tour on foot together with a panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Later, you may wish to discover the artistic wonders of the Renaissance in the Florentine museums or shop for fine leather goods and 18 carat gold jewelry. Later, we return to Montecatini. This evening, why not dine out on Tuscan cuisine in the Chianti hills?
Day 7 Montecatini – Venice (Lido) (2) This morning after breakfast, we drive over the Apennines to Bologna where we stop to view the 'kissing' Towers, Neptune's Fountain and the Communal Palace. Here there's time for a spot of Bolognese cuisine before driving along the Veneto plain to magical Venice. Tonight, after dinner, a gondola serenade would be hard to resist! Hotel: Rigel (2 nights)
Day 8 Venice sightseeing Today's included canal cruise to St. Mark's Square by private launch shows us the Doges' Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Basilica en route to one of the city's oldest Murano glass-blowing workshops. We'll witness a demonstration of this ancient craft before time at leisure to perhaps relax in a café or take an excursion to visit one of the islands in the Lagoon for a fresh seafood lunch!
Day 9 Venice (Lido) – Milan We drive to the city of Verona – home of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet. Here we enjoy a visit of the 2,000 year old Arena – where even today concerts and Opera are performed, and also see the Balcony of Juliet, the Piazza Bra and the Piazza delle Erbe. Later, we continue our drive past Shakespearian landscapes back to Milan for the final night of our holiday. This evening, why not dine on some fine Milanese cuisine at one of the city's elegant restaurants? Hotel: Holiday Inn Linate Day 10 Milan – USA Bid farewell as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America.
