Day 1 Depart USA Overnight
flight to London.
Day 2 Arrive London (2) After checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest
of the day is free. Hotel: Hilton London Kensington (2 nights)
Day 3 London Many major sights are included on morning sightseeing.
This afternoon step out and visit nearby sights on your own.
Day 4 London Paris (2) Greetings from our Tour Director. Off to Dover
for our sea-crossing to Calais in France. We drive across Somme
Battlefields to Paris. We enjoy a welcome beverage with our
Tour Director tonight. Later, why not take an excursion to see the city
illuminated? Hotel: Sofitel La Defense (2 nights)

Day 5 Paris sightseeing Our guided sightseeing tour
shows us the Champs Elysιes and Opera House, plus visits Notre Dame
Cathedral. We also ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower
to admire the panoramic view over Haussman's well-designed city. Some free
time this afternoon to explore this amazing city.

Day 6 Paris Lucerne An early start as we drive through the Auxerrois
and Burgundy vineyards, seeing the castle of Chateauneuf. Past the
remains of the Maginot line at Belfort we reach the Swiss border at
Basel and soon arrive in lakeside Lucerne.

On arrival orientation
shows us the Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument.
This evening after
dinner, perhaps join an optional Folklore show. Hotel: Central
Day 7 Lucerne Florence This morning maybe take a trip up a nearby
mountain or shop for souvenirs before we drive via the Gotthard Range
into Italian-speaking Ticino and cross Lake Lugano into Italy. We
continue past Lake Como and Milan and drive across the Lombardy Plain before
reaching the Apennine Hills just south of Bologna. Soon we are in
Tuscany and arriving in Florence, a Renaissance jewel nestling in the
valley of the River Arno. Tonight, we enjoy dinner in a local trattoria.

Day 8 Florence Rome (2) Morning sightseeing on foot shows us
the Cathedral, the Baptistry, Giotto's Bell-tower, the Piazza della Signoria
and the Cathedral of Santa Croce. Later, we head
to the 'Eternal City'. Tonight, why not try some Roman cuisine and
explore this romantic city? Hotel: Melia Roma Aurelia Antica (2 nights)

Day 9 Rome This morning we explore the city
of the Seven Hills with a guided sightseeing tour which visits
magnificent St. Peter's in the Vatican, and stops at the Roman Forum to admire
the Colosseum. We stop to throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain
and so ensure our return to this - the 'Eternal City'. Later, you may wish to
visit the Sistine Chapel and the Catacombs outside the ancient Roman walls.
Day 10 Rome USA Today we transfer to the airport for our return flight
to America.
