Day 1 Depart USA Overnight flight to Rome.
Day 2 Arrive Rome (2) On your arrival we transfer you to your hotel. Tonight enjoy a welcome coffee or soda with our Tour Director. Hotel: Villa Pamphili (2 nights)
Day 3 Rome sightseeing Our guided sightseeing includes views of the Colosseum from the Roman Forum and visits St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. We stop at the Trevi Fountain. Have your coins ready! At
leisure perhaps visit the Sistine Chapel. Tonight, why not try some Roman cuisine?
Day 4 Rome Venice (Mestre) Through the hilltop towns of the Lazio and the Umbria and the Apennine Mountains. Then via Bologna to the plains of Veneto and our Venice hotel. Tonight, a gondola serenade is a must. Hotel: Principe
Day 5 Venice sightseeing Italian Lakes Our private launch takes us along the Giudecca Canal to St. Mark's basin to admire the Bridge of Sighs, Palladian Church of Santa Maria delle Salute and the Doges' Palace. After a stroll across St. Mark's Square we visit a Murano glass-blowing workshop and witness this centuries old craft. Then free time before we drive to the Italian Lake District and Lake Maggiore for the night. Hotel: Simplon Day 6 Italian Lakes Lucerne An early start through stunning Alpine landscapes and the Gotthard range as we drive to Lucerne, where we visit the mournful Lion Monument and time to walk across the Chapel Bridge. Then free time to shop for watches, chocolates or to take a trip up a nearby mountain for incredible views! Hotel: Flora
Day 7 Lucerne Paris (2) Via Basel and into France we pass Belfort and remnants of the Maginot Line. We stop to view the Burgundy vineyards at Savigny-L่s-Beaune, before passing Chateauneuf to Paris. Tonight, maybe take a Seine cruise or enjoy a leisurely dinner in a left bank bistro. Hotel: Sofitel Forum Rive Gauche/Sofitel Grande Arche (2 nights)
Day 8 Paris sightseeing Today's sightseeing with a local guide includes a visit of Notre Dame Cathedral, and the ascent to the second level of the Eiffel Tower for fantastic views. We also see the Champs Elys้es, Place de la Concorde and more! Then maybe take an excursion to the chateau of Versailles. This evening, why not enjoy a Parisian Cabaret dinner show?
Day 9 Paris London (2) North across the Somme Battlefields and past the Vimy Ridge to the port of Calais. Here we board for our cruise across the Channel to the White Cliffs of Dover and return by coach to London. Hotel: Clifton Ford (2 nights)
Day 10 London sightseeing Many major sights are included on morning sightseeing.
Day 11 London USA Today bid farewell on our return flight to America.
